Isaiah 44:3
• How has God blessed you?
I realize I’ve taken for granted each day I wake up. There are thousands of things that can go wrong when we sleep, and yet I wake up, rush out of bed, and attend to my responsibilities (or morning doomscrolling) without taking in the blessing God has given me: being alive. I know this now more than ever, having had a baby and watched them sleep, often fearful that something has gone wrong. It’s hard not to think of all the worst case scenarios. But then morning comes around, and all is well. God has blessed me with life, with waking up this morning, and I want to be more mindful of that so I can be more thankful for God’s blessings.
