MONDAY
Micah 6:7-8
• What can you do to honor Jesus by living out this verse?
It’s tempting for us to think that God needs to be “wow’d” to be happy with us. We spend time looking for a big mountaintop experience or a major moment to think that God is pleased with us. While God is pleased with big moments, we must not forget that God loves the small, consistent, intimate things too. We do not need a mountaintop experience to honor God. If we wait for a big moment, we’ll miss out on ways to see God daily. We can see God daily when we choose to walk humbly (helping one of your classmates study for an upcoming test), by loving mercy (forgiving a person who has wronged you in the past year), and acting justly (standing up for the kid in your class who people are picking on). Don’t wait until the next Bible camp or Christian concert to honor God; start tomorrow somewhere close.
