When the Israelites woke up, something amazing was happening. There was thunder and lightning. Smoke covered the mountain. The mountain shook. A loud trumpet sound filled the air. They saw how powerful God is. Even the mountain listened. God gave rules to help people live well. These rules were given in love. When people follow God’s ways, they learn how to live with kindness and care.
