Romans 10:12-13

As we come to the end of the week, let’s return again to the Key Verse that we began the week with. “For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile, the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call

on him, for, ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved’” (Romans 10:12-13). Having now had the opportunity to think more deeply about this throughout the week, how does this passage speak with richer meaning about what it means to share the good news of the gospel, both in what we say and in how we live?

• What new insights have you gained this week in terms of what is involved in sharing the good news with every nation, kindred, tongue, and people?

• Where are the growing edges for you as you think about more fully embracing and embodying what it means to live out the Great Commission?

• What barriers or places of resistance do you sense are preventing us from more fully experiencing the kind of church community that is committed to doing what Jesus invites us to do? What do you think we can do about them?

• Where are the places of resistance in your own life to living out the message in this verse? What do you think the resistance is about?

• As you think back over your reflections this week, what do you sense God inviting you to consider, more fully embrace, or perhaps is nudging you towards?
