When the disciples saw Jesus walking on the water, they were frightened. They thought He was a ghost! But Jesus called out, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” His words helped them know it was really Him. Jesus’ voice still gives us peace today. When we read the Bible or remember His promises, we hear Him saying, “Don’t be afraid. I’m here.”
