Revelation 5:12-13

• What do you think it will be like to worship God together in heaven?

Worship can be such a touchy subject. To us, everything influences the way we worship. Our culture, our traditions, our denomination, our theology, the list goes on. While we need to be ourselves and bring who we are into our worship, it can very easily become more about us than about God. When I think of worshiping together in heaven, I picture a space where all styles are celebrated, all traditions are mixed, and a new culture is created that involves all cultures. I picture worship as less about me and more about us, focused on the One we are worshiping. Though we are not in heaven at this moment, I believe God still wants us to do our best to create that heavenly worship experience wherever we worship. Don’t wait until heaven to experience heaven with those around you.
