• Knowing that God is on your side, are you able to say these words about yourself? Why or why not?

When I was a kid, I remember having an older cousin who would rush in to save me whenever anyone was picking on me. He was older and stronger, so he always made the mean kids run away when he arrived. Though he would always save me when I needed saving, he could not prevent people from trying to bully me. Still, I always knew that no matter how bad things got, my cousin had my back. It’s very similar to knowing God is with you and will stand with you through difficult moments. Bad things will not magically stop happening, but getting through these difficult times is easier when you know who will pick you back up and stand up for you.
