Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6

As we come to the end of the week, let’s return to the Key Verse that we began the week with.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6). Having now had the opportunity to think more deeply about your understanding, and the understanding that God invites us to grow into, how does this passage speak with richer meaning about what it means to live in a way that acknowledges God, and in which we follow the path God invites us to take?

• What new insights have you gained this week in terms of how our own understanding interacts with God’s understanding?

• Where are the areas of growth for you as you think about more fully embracing and embodying what it means to live in a way that acknowledges God as the One who directs your paths?

• In what ways do you sense Jesus is inviting you to more fully and intentionally come and follow Him?

• Where are the places of resistance in your life to living out the message in this verse? What do you think the resistance is about?

• As you think over your reflections this week, what do you sense God inviting you to consider, more fully embrace, or perhaps nudging you toward?
