DEVOTIONAL

The Ark of the Covenant was a special golden box the Israelites carried with them. It reminded them that God was with them and leading them. When the ark went before the people, they remembered that God was powerful and in control. God told the people to carry the ark as they marched around Jericho. Even in a scary situation, the ark reminded them: God is with us. God is with you too—no matter where you go.

BIBLE VERSE:

Joshua 6:6–7

QUESTION:

When do you need to remember that God is with you?

PRAYER:

Dear God, help me remember that you are always with me. Amen.
