• Is there a place in your life where you are seeking freedom?

I want freedom from comparison. It’s so easy for me to look at what others own or what they have accomplished and tell myself that the things I am doing and the things I have are not enough. This way of thinking has forced me into seasons where I have been left frozen, scared to put in effort to try to be better, and afraid to fail because it will prove that I am not as good as everyone else. I have been reminded of my individuality and gifts through people around God and me speaking to me through the Bible. I don’t need to imitate anyone else, and I don’t have to execute like anyone else to be proud of myself. These thoughts creep in from time to time, but I know God wants me to be free from them.
