• Jesus’ whole life was about serving God and serving others. How can you do this when interacting with your family? Serving others feels good, but serving family feels like a chore. Most of us would help a friend move a couch before we would do a sibling’s laundry! While we are to care for strangers and people outside of our homes, we can live as an example of love in our most important spaces: our homes. When we start the good work Jesus calls us to do in our homes, it becomes more natural to serve outside of our homes. It creates a standard, and it creates motivation to see what’s in your home outside of your walls. If you want to serve the world better, start by serving in your home.
