WEDNESDAY
Job 38:19-20
• When you think of how fundamental light is to the survival of the human race, what do you think about the light of Christ being in you?
Can you imagine a world where the only source of light is the sun when it’s up? All your work would have to be done when the sun is up, and all buildings would have to be oriented in a way to have optimal sunlight while in service. Now, that might be more efficient for our rest, but it is helpful to be able to see in dark places. Light improves our lives in every way we can think of. This is the same way the light of Christ works with us—as something that improves the quality of our lives, improves our situations, and when shared, helps out others. When we let our lights shine like the song says, our lives and the lives of others are lifted.
