Introduction

Nov 1, 2025

You have big dreams for what you want to do when you grow up. You like to try new things, and that is great. Sometimes things do not work out the first time you try. That can make you feel sad. You might even look at what someone else can do and wish you could do it too.

This week we will learn how God gives each person  special gifts to serve God and help others. Your gifts might be different from your friends’ gifts, and that is a good thing. God made you special in your own way. This week you can find out more about the  talents God has given you and how they can help others. Let us celebrate the amazing way God made you! The world needs you just the way you

Planting the Seed:

When Jesus began telling people that He would suffer and die, When we accept God’s gift of grace and  forgiveness, God gives us another set of gifts to  help reach others. This is our great chance to tell  others about our relationship with God!

Everyone is given different gifts to serve God, such  as speaking, teaching, serving, and encouraging.  But one thing we have to remember is that the  gifts are all different. One person may be good at  one thing while another is good at something else.

We must not become jealous of someone else’s  gift, because all the gifts work together like one  body. In a body, the hand can do something the  eye can’t do, but the eye can do something the  hand can’t do. When they work together, they do  great things! It’s the same with the body of Christ.  God will do amazing things through us when we  use our different gifts together.

Key Verse: “For we are God’s workmanship,  created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians

2:10).

Bible Point: God gives us gifts to serve.

Chore Change Up:

This week, work with your family to change the  chores around. Each person will do someone else’s  chore for the whole week. If Mom always does  the laundry, maybe you could do it. If you always  dust the house, it might be someone else’s turn.  If Dad does the yardwork, this is where someone  else can pick up the chore. Make sure each person  has changed jobs so that everyone can help. At  the end of the week, switch back. Tell the person  who usually does the task that you did how you  felt about it. Then, make sure that person knows  how much you appreciate him or her pitching in  to help the whole family run smoothly.

Ready, Set, Grow!

This week, children are pulling one idea out of  a bag every day to serve God in a specific way.  Help your child grow in faith this week and  follow through on this commitment!
