Colossians 1:12-14

• Who are the children of God?

We are all children of God—just not all of us are aware of it. Being a child of God isn’t an exclusive club that you need to register for and wait to see if you get in. The criteria of being a child of God is to be created by God, and every single human on earth is a product of God’s creation. We are all children of God. It’s up to us to recognize who we are and then help others know it for themselves. Far too often, Christians share about a God whom no one would want to be children of, but when we read the Bible (especially the Gospels) about a God who loves humanity endlessly, we meet a God who anyone would be excited to be connected with. How can you remind someone today that they are a child of God?
