FRIDAY
Scripture: Ephesians 2:10
As we come to the end of the week, let’s return to the Key Verse that we began the week with: “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10). Having now had the opportunity to think more deeply about this throughout the week, how does this passage speak with richer meaning about what it means to live intentionally as a part of the faith community you are a part of or are invited to be a part of?
• What new insights have you gained this week in terms of what is involved in being part of the Body of Christ, or a Living Temple?
• Where are the areas of growth for you as you consider more fully embracing and embodying what it means to live as part of a community like this?
• What barriers or places of resistance do you sense are preventing you/us from more fully experiencing the kind of community that is described here? What do you think we can do about them?
• Where are the places of resistance in your life to living out the message in this verse? What do you think the resistance is about?
• As you think back over your reflections this week, what do you sense God inviting you to consider, more fully embrace, or perhaps nudging you towards?
