DEVOTIONAL

Have you ever made a wish, like on your birthday? Maybe you hoped for something really big! But wishing doesn’t make things happen. We don’t have that kind of power. God does. God told Joshua, “I have given you the city of Jericho.” The battle had not even happened yet—but God had already made a promise. And when God speaks, those words are true. God has the power to do what is promised.

BIBLE VERSE:

Joshua 6:1–5

QUESTION:

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

PRAYER:

Dear God, your words are powerful and true. Thank you! Amen.
