Micah 6:8

• How can you act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with the people whom you have a difficult time liking?

MICAH 6:8 MOMENTS

SNAPSHOTS OF “ACT[ING] JUSTLY”

• Speaking up when someone interrupts the quiet member of your friend group.

• Learning about people who have less than you, and learning how to advocate for them.

• Volunteering with organizations that address food insecurity and poverty.

• Donating clothes or food you’ve outgrown to help families who need them.

• Supporting things that are good for people and the planet—like recycling or being kind to someone new.

SNAPSHOTS OF “LOV[ING] MERCY”

• Forgiving quickly.

• Helping a friend without expecting anything in return.

• Staying behind to help the teacher clean up even though you’ve been dismissed already.

• Being kind to someone who isn’t kind to you.

• Being patient with that one teammate who may not be the most athletic.

SNAPSHOTS OF “WALKING HUMBLY”

• Eradicating “I told you so” out of your vocabulary.

• Replacing “I’m sorry you feel that way” with “I’m sorry.”

• Being teachable on the basketball team.

• Listening to everyone’s ideas when working on the group project.
