Colossians 1:18-20

• How does the greatness of Christ affect those of us who follow him?

One of the greatest current basketball players is none other than LeBron James. Everything about him is legendary. Watching him play is like poetry in motion. What makes LeBron stand out amongst the other great players of today is that, whatever team he is on, he elevates the team’s performance. Everyone strives to do better and becomes better when they let him lead and when they stay focused on his advice. Jesus does the same thing, but he doesn’t just offer this greatness to the roster of the Los Angeles Lakers–this greatness is provided to the entire world. When we choose to let Christ lead our lives, the greatness that exists in him is reflected through each one of us.
