Matthew 25:39-40

• How can you honor God by serving others today? How will it change your relationships?

Serving others is like a muscle you need to strengthen. It takes effort and dedication; it can be exhausting and take a lot out of you, but the more you do it, the more results you will see and the easier it gets. My advice is, start by doing something within your reach, something you are equipped to do, something that you could start tomorrow. I want to serve my friends by giving them rides to the airport. I declared to myself that if anyone needs a ride to the airport—and yes, even LAX—I’ll drive them there free of charge. It might not sound like much, but it can mean a lot to the person I’m helping out, and enduring traffic in Southern California can be a lot sometimes. The more I’ve done this, the more my friends have felt like I will support them in need, and they have also returned that support. Serving others creates a culture of service within your relationships, leading everyone to take care of each other.
