The king of Jericho heard that spies were in the city. He told Rahab, “Bring out the men who came to your house.” The king did not trust God. He was afraid and wanted to stay in control. But when we trust God, we don’t have to control everything. We can trust that God is taking care of us. God’s plans are always good, even when we feel unsure.

When do you want to be in control instead of trusting God?

Dear God, help me trust you instead of trying to control everything. Amen.
