READ: Romans 6:8-9

• God’s power overcomes death. If you have made a faith commitment to Jesus, you’ll live with him forever. Have you made that decision? Acted on it? How?

Decision list:

• Do I cook dinner… or simply stare into the fridge until it makes a suggestion?

• Should I clean my room… or just move the mess into a slightly neater pile?

• Wear real pants today… or embrace my destiny as a sweatpants disciple?

• Go to bed early… or enter the “one more episode” wormhole again?

• Text back immediately… or pretend I didn’t see it for three to five business days?

• Be productive… or hydrate and call it self-care?

• Start a new hobby… or become obsessed with the idea of the hobby and never do it?

• Make a budget… or continue my “hope for the best” financial strategy?

Decisions can be hard. Following Jesus is a decision you make every day for the rest of your life. While my everyday decisions may be questionable at best, choosing Jesus never is. He’s the steady, loving guide who meets us in our mess and leads us forward, one faithful decision at a time.
