• How do God’s people inherit the earth?

What do you know about inheritance? Often, an inheritance is something that children of deceased parents get when their parents pass away. It is often money, heirlooms, or property, but can be just about anything that can be owned.

The Bible says that God’s people will “inherit” the earth. What do you think this means?

In my opinion, the reason the Bible uses the word “inheritance” is to signify a birthright, or ownership. The earth always belonged to God, who created it for the children of God, and so, therefore, it is ours to inherit.

Blessed are God’s children, for we will inherit the earth.
