• What concerns do you need to entrust to God’s power today?

There are a lot of horrible things happening around the world today. Many people don’t feel safe being out in public. Wars are going on far and near. Some people don’t see others as human beings. I know this all breaks God’s heart. God is not distant from these situations but is at work even in the middle of them. It makes me feel helpless sometimes because I have so many of my own responsibilities, and I am so far away from what seems to be the epicenter of the needs. I need God’s power to help me be who I need to be here in my own community, to be kind where I am, to be loving where I am, to create safety where I am. If I can do here in my community the things that seem to be needed out there, I will be able to confidently step up if the opportunity arises for me to care elsewhere.
