• God’s power overcomes death. Jesus’ love for us endures beyond life and death. What does this mean to you?

Jesus overcoming death shows us that even death could not hold back God’s love for us. We can let God’s love for us be our motivation for each day. We can let it transform us, guide us, give us rest, and give us vision to face our problems. For me personally, knowing that Jesus died and rose again lessens my fear of death. Not that I think I am immortal or can simply overcome death as Jesus did—I find hope that if Jesus’ love endured death, Jesus’ love for me persists even if I die. Nothing can separate me from God’s love, and I find peace in that through the displayed power of God.
