THURSDAY
Isaiah 48:17
• Why can you trust God to lead you?
What is something you rely on? We all have our favorite chair that we prefer to sit on at the dining table. Each day, for whatever meal we are having at home, we are pulled to our preferred seat. When we approach the seat to sit down, we do not hesitate for a second to plop ourselves down in our spot. We do this confidently knowing that the seat will hold us up because it has done so countless times before. We can trust God’s guidance for a similar reason. God has never failed us. God only has good intentions for us. When we reflect on this, when we pause to remember this, we can trust God with the confidence we have to drop our weight into our favorite seat. The proof is in God’s nature and history—God is always looking out.
