• How can we honor and praise God like nature?

At summer camp, we used to sing this old song called “Ain’t No Rock.” The lyrics were memorable:

Ain’t no rock gonna cry in my place

As long as I’m alive, I’ll glorify his holy name

Ain’t no bird gonna sing in my place

As long as I’m alive, I’ll glorify his holy name

Ain’t no tree, gonna wave its branches

As long as I’m alive, I’ll glorify his holy name

This quirky song is a bold commitment. Jesus says that if we stay silent, even the rocks will cry out and praise God! What this tells us is that God’s creation was designed to praise and adore its creator. We have the choice to join the earth in worship. How will you honor and praise God like nature today?
