READ: Proverbs 3:5-6

• How does acknowledging God in all you do help you trust him?

How might your perspective change if you believed God is present in every moment of your life? It can be hard to trust God when we do not recognize that God is present with us. It’s like trying to trust a friend who has never shown up for you. When we acknowledge God in the things we do, we are noticing God move. When we begin to notice how God is working, it’s easier for us to trust God for whatever comes up next. Start acknowledging God in small ways: for the bed you have to sleep in, for the toothpaste to brush your teeth, and even for the toothbrush! God is moving in our lives in small ways, and when we notice the small things, it’s easier to see God in the big things.
