As we come to the end of the week, let’s return again to the key verse that we began the week with. “Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7).

Having now had the opportunity to think more deeply about this and the implications of those words throughout the week, how does this passage speak with richer meaning about what it means to live generously in response to God’s generosity to us?

- What new insights have you gained this week in terms of the posture that God has toward us as revealed in Jesus?

- As you think about God’s generosity, and how that is expressed in your own life as you live in appreciation and response to God, where are the growing edges for you?

- Where are the places of resistance in your life to more fully live in response to a sense of generous abundance rather than out of a sense of anxiety or scarcity?

- As you think back over your reflections this week, what do you sense God inviting you to consider, more fully embrace, or is perhaps nudging you towards?
