Specifically, You

The desire to do something meaningful in our lives is something we all encounter. Yet that desire is often diminished or distorted by our insecurities and the way we perceive ourselves. We may even wonder whether God has a plan or a place for us. The story of Moses at the burning bush speaks directly to this experience. In this lesson we will explore how Moses’s conversation with God was not only the moment he received his calling to deliver the Israelites. It was also an intimate moment in which Moses confronted the insecurities living in his heart and the tension that rises when we are called to something that feels much bigger than we are. We will also see how that tension is met and eased by the reassuring presence of God.
