Joseph didn’t wait until the sun came up. As soon as he woke up, he obeyed God’s message. He packed up quickly and left that night with Mary and baby Jesus. They began a long, hard journey to Egypt, walking or riding donkeys. It wasn’t easy, but God took care of them the whole way. Even when we don’t know what’s ahead, God takes care of us. We don’t have to worry about what’s around the corner, because God goes with us wherever we are: at home, on a trip, or someplace new.
