MONDAY - Kids Podcast

Jesus came to the Jordan River to see His cousin, John. John was baptizing people who wanted to live God’s way. He would lay them into the water and raise them back up. It is a sign of choosing to follow God. Jesus asked John to baptize Him, too. But Jesus had never done anything wrong! Why would He need baptism? Jesus said, “This is the right thing to do.” Jesus wanted to show everyone how to follow God. Jesus is God’s Son, and He leads by example. When we follow Him, we learn how to live in ways that are good for us and for others.
