• How were Paul and Silas worshipping God? What happened as they worshipped?

In a difficult time, Paul and Silas found it in their hearts to worship God while they were suffering. We’ve talked this week about worshipping in community, in celebration of God’s community, out of dedication to others—but worship can also exist during suffering. In hard times, God is still good. In times of pain and isolation, God still loves you. God’s consistent love and goodness are worthy of worship in the most difficult of times. Choosing to worship through these moments not only keeps us connected to God, but it can also lift our spirits to navigate through these times. Even when it feels impossible, worship can become a way to stay connected to God in the darkest moments.
