• When do you find it difficult to choose to honor God through being guided by God’s standard?

It can feel like we are in a constant chess match against ourselves, battling between honoring God and selfishly serving ourselves. There are moments when pressure from our peers leads us, when flared-up emotions are our compass, when approval from others is more important than God’s guidance. Sometimes these moments come when we are at our lowest and most vulnerable, but God will never stop calling us back and shaping us into people of love. God shows up in the moments of tension from decisions and will always offer us a better way. Honoring God becomes easier the more we become attentive to the still, quiet voice nudging us into life-giving choices.
