READ: Ephesians 6:10-11

• What makes it difficult for you to stand bravely for God?

It can be difficult to stand up for God because it feels easier, and maybe even safer, to go with the flow of everyone else. We don’t want to be rejected, left out, judged, or portrayed as incompetent. But I am learning that it is better to suffer standing up in love than to go with the flow of unkindness or compromise. To be loving in this day and age can often feel like going against the standard. Even other believers may misunderstand you—people you care about, people you look up to—but God will never abandon you for doing what is out of love. Stand bravely for God; stand bravely in loving others the same way God does.
