• How do you respond to knowing that you don’t have to save yourself?

When we accept that we don’t have to do the work of saving ourselves, a weight is lifted in our spiritual journey with God. We can give up trying to earn love from God and live in the grace God offers us. We can rest from the panic we have when we don’t do our best. Fear is replaced by gratitude, and we begin to respond to God’s guidance out of love. Not being able to save ourselves is a lifted burden because God saves us, and that grace becomes the foundation for everything else.
