• How is Job a good example? How would someone describe you?

Job’s greatness was from his integrity in the face of everything going wrong. He did his best to remain faithful despite each worst case scenario. Job’s integrity didn’t mean he never struggled. It meant he kept bringing his life to God even when it hurt. That’s why God highlights Job’s faithfulness in this verse. Job reminds us that faith can be steady even when feelings are messy. When bad things happen, it’s easy to focus on what we can’t do or what we can’t change, but focusing on God allows us to see beyond the situation. I want to be described the same way God described Job—I want to trust God constantly.
