• Based on how you treat others, how are you bearing God’s name?

Bearing God’s name never means that we are perfect, but it means we recognize that, as believers, we represent God in the spaces we are in. The things we do and say will be correlated to how God is seen in the eyes of the people around us. It can sound like a massive responsibility, but it’s truly an intimate invitation. When you choose to be kind instead of judgmental, when you choose to love instead of hate, when you choose to spread peace instead of aggression, you are bearing the name of God. Your actions can give people a glimpse into the heart of God, letting God’s light shine brightly through you. Take joy in the beautiful journey of bearing the name of God.
