• How can your faith in God’s ability to protect you keep you from being afraid?

When I think about what scares me, the motivation behind each fear is based on my inability. I’m scared of heights because I’m unable to fly or survive a long fall. I was scared of the dark as a kid because I believed I was unable to face whatever might pop out and attack me. When we think about what we can’t do, there are countless things to be afraid of. Nothing is outside God’s power, even when we don’t understand what’s happening. When we remember that and stay focused on that, our inabilities become small in comparison to God’s abilities.
