Jesus Gives the Beatitudes
Matthew 5:1–12
Theme: Jesus blesses us
Props: Small hill of pillows or soft blanket mound
Say: Jesus sat on a hillside and taught the people. He said, “God blesses you!” (Lift your child up on the soft hill or sit them gently on a pillow mound.) The land reminds us of God’s blessings—He made hills and valleys for us to enjoy. Put your hands together and say, “Jesus blesses me!”
Repeat phrase: “Jesus blesses me!”
