Zacchaeus Climbs a Tree to See Jesus

Luke 19:1–10

Theme: Jesus sees me

Props: Small branch, toy figure

Say: Zacchaeus climbed up a tree that grew from the land. From there, he could see Jesus. (Lift toy figure up the branch or pretend with your child’s hand.) Jesus made the land with trees that grow tall. And He sees us too! Wave your hands high like branches and say, “Jesus sees me!”

Repeat phrase: “Jesus sees me!”
