• How does Jesus give you and others life?

Fun fact: honey never spoils. (I learned this with my students while taking a true or false quiz with them.) Can you imagine spreading a slab of honey from the 1940s on toast? From the 1600s? From 200 BC?!

We’re used to things expiring. It feels like almost every day, we get reminders of the common cliché: Life is short. Whether it’s a loved one passing away, watching our children or younger siblings grow up, or putting our beloved pets down, life on earth has an expiration date. But life with Jesus doesn’t! Maybe this is why when someone on earth dies, texts like John 5:26 are so comforting.

Life with Jesus is like honey: sweet and eternal.
