Peter and Andrew Meet Jesus

John 1:35–42

Theme: Jesus is our friend

Props: Sand or dirt in a small container, toy footprints (or draw in sand)

Say: Peter and Andrew walked on the land to follow Jesus. Their feet left marks in the dirt. They became Jesus’ friends! (Let your child touch the sand or dirt. Make little footprints with the toy.) We walk on the land Jesus made, and He walks with us. Hold your child’s hand and say, “Jesus is my friend!”

Repeat phrase: “Jesus is my friend!”
