Jesus Is Baptized

Matthew 3:13–17

Theme: Jesus is God’s Son

Props: Small rock, bowl of water

Say: Jesus stood in the river, where land and water meet. John baptized Him, and God’s voice said, “This is My Son. I love Him.” (Tap the rock gently on the table or floor.) Rocks remind us that God made the land strong. Jesus is God’s Son, standing firm like the land He made. Let’s stand tall and say, “Jesus is God’s Son!”

Repeat phrase: “Jesus is God’s Son!”
