Peter Tells the Sanhedrin About Jesus

(Acts 4:5–14)

Theme: Jesus helps us speak with courage

Props: Spray bottle or misting fan, soft toy

Say:

Peter stood tall and talked about Jesus, even when the leaders told him not to. He was brave! Jesus gave him strength, like a fresh mist on a hot day.

(Use the spray bottle to mist gently near the children. Let them feel the refreshing spritz.)

That feels good, doesn’t it? Just like water cools us, Jesus makes us brave.

Let’s stand tall like Peter! (Model standing or sitting tall.) Put your hand on your chest and say, “Jesus makes me brave!”

Repeat phrase: “Jesus makes me brave!”
