(Acts 11:19–26)

Jesus helps us grow in faith

Props:

Toy watering can or pitcher, potted plant or toy flower

Say:

Barnabas was a good friend. He helped others grow strong in their faith, like water helps flowers grow!

(Let children pretend to water the plant or toy flower.) When we show love and kindness, it helps people grow.

Put your hands over your heart and say, “Jesus helps me grow!”

Now stretch your arms high like a growing flower.

Repeat phrase: “Jesus helps me grow!”
