God told Moses to hit a rock, and water flowed out for everyone to drink. Moses named the place to help the people remember how they doubted God, but how God still helped them. Remembering hard times can help people see how God’s care and love were present. Even when people struggle, help does not go away. God loves us and stays near, even when it is hard for us to trust.
