Moses felt upset and asked God for help. God listened and gave Moses clear instructions. God reminded Moses about the staff used before to show that help had come in the past. Remembering how God has helped us in the past can make trusting God easier. God had helped the Israelites before and would help again. God continues to guide and protect us today, just as God has always taken care of us in the past.
