• Who do you turn to for strength and wisdom to know how God can use you?

A long time ago, I ordered a cheap poster of various affirmations to hang in my bathroom. I realized that I needed something to read when I was getting ready in the mornings. It can be really easy to slip into toxic, comparative mental conversations with yourself when you’re doing your makeup, your hair, or even just staring at yourself in the mirror. I wanted to challenge those conversations and remind myself that my value is not affected by how I look. So now, every morning, I get ready with “You are a great friend!” and “You are invaluable!” and “You’re improving yourself every day!” in my periphery.

Where do you go when you need a reminder of your worth? Is it your best friend? A parent? Posters in your bathroom?! The world needs more self-assured people who know their value, so wherever you have to go to be reminded of your worth, go there every single day. Because when we know that our value is untouchable, God can use us.
