• How do you respond to the statement “God is all I ever need”?

This statement has a great intention, but it can be misunderstood. God absolutely wants to be the foundation of everything in our lives, but that doesn’t mean God wants us to have only God and nothing else. God wants us to have friends, goals, interests, and hobbies, with God at the center of it all. In our relationships, God wants to be the foundation; in our goals, God wants to be part of our plans. In all the things we have and pursue, invite God into them. God is your deepest need, and God also delights to give you good things that grow your faith, joy, and love for others.
