• Why can a Christian be calm, even in the midst of chaos and turmoil?

We find peace not because of what’s happening around us, which is often chaotic and exhausting, but because of WHO is with us through it all. We don’t have to pretend like we are experiencing peace; we can genuinely trust in a God who promises to be with us to the end of time, through thick and thin. When I feel overwhelmed, I write all my thoughts down. All the stressors, all the things I am unsure about, I put it all down. Then, I read it all again, recognizing that God is beside me, and I feel this release of pressure and affirmation not to worry. Find your practice that gives you peace. Jesus wants that for you!
